Former Cleaning When Using a Thickener in Coagulant

Manufacturer: As we were still in the process to make good of the product through your valuable advice, we have achieved a lot of success in reducing the flow mark on the balloons with your kind help. However there are still issues of former cleaning due to our using a thickening agent in the coagulant.

John Woon (Senior Latex Consultant): To improve the cleaning of the formers with thickener, you should introduce alkali cleaning. Ideally, you should have both acid and alkali wash online. But I expect your existing dipping line might not have enough space for such a combination.

In this case, you could alternate acid wash with alkali wash or introduce alkali wash during your periodical down-time for maintenance, etc.
