How to Prevent "Srike-Through" of Supported Household/Industrial Gloves?
John Woon (Senior Latex Consultant): What you described is what we call, "Strike-through". Easy! Just follow the following guide:
1) Control the strength of the coagulant to ensure sufficient latex pick-up, good fibre to rubber bonding but yet no excessive penetration of the latex to the other side of the glove.
2) Such control is also affected by the former temperature and the colloidal stability of the latex compound.
3) Speed of former immersion also plays apart.
