Agglomerate free nano-sized Zinc Oxide

With approximately 1,300 R&D partnerships worldwide, BASF has recently signed a one-year contract with the Singapore-based NanoMaterials Technology Pte Ltd (NMT) focusing on nanoparticle synthesis and application development.

The collaboration will involve the use of NMT's technology for producing stabilised and agglomerate-free zinc oxide nanosuspensions (less than 20 nanometres). Functionalities can also be applied to the ZnO which can then be used in catalysts, polymers and pigments.
