Nanowires and Nanocrystals for Nanotechnology
Lecture on nanotechnology by Professor Yi Cui from the Materials Science and Engineering Department at Stanford University, a recipient of the Technology Review World Top 100 Young Innovator Award. He received his PhD degree from Harvard University working with Prof. Charles Lieber. He received his B.S. degree from University of Science and Technology of China.
ABSTRACT: Nanowires and nanocrystals represent important nanomaterials with one-dimensional and zero-dimensional morphology, respectively. An overview on the research about how these nanomaterials impact the critical applications in faster transistors, smaller nonvolatile memory devices, efficient solar energy conversion, high-energy battery and nanobiotechnology
